Album creation: Organizing photos into albums is a convenient and efficient process when you use this app. Just select the photos that you want in the album, name your new album, and you're done. And adding more photos to an existing album is just as straightforward, so you can be sure all of your photos will always be in the right place.
Find friends: If you allow access to your Facebook friends list, Twitter connections, and phone contacts, the app will locate any of the people included in any of those lists who have Flickr accounts, so you can find and follow them quickly. You can choose to Follow All, or make your selections individually.
Cons
Double uploads: Several of the photos we added during testing inexplicably were added two or even three times to the photo archive in the app. While this isn't a huge drawback, uploading photos does take some time, and uploading doubles only adds to that.
Bottom Line
Flickr is a great way to share your photos with anyone who wants to see or with only the people you choose. You can decide which of your photos are public and which have restricted access, and you'll always find great things to look at in your newsfeed. While this app isn't perfect, it free, and it's a great way to bring the flexibility of Flickr to your mobile device.

Awesome, but a bit slow on Sprint's 3G iPhone 4S
Great app, but I have issues being able to see/change the privacy function and album options while uploading images on my iPhone XSM. The functions and options are covered by the keyboard that automatically pops up at the bottom of the screen and there is no way to make images private when uploading.
This means that I would have to upload images, go back into my photos, locate the recently uploaded images, select each image and change the options there. Way too many steps and when you used to be able to do it on the fly during upload. Of course I can always just access it from a desktop and change them faster, but that defeats the purpose of the app.
Can this be revised on the next update please??

It’s Fun To Share Your Work
I am in the process of scanning thousands of 35 MM Negatives going back over a 36 yr period. Although I’ve received compliments over the years, I’ve seen much better work than mine. I also have collected photos from the internet and always mark those in capital letters, “not my photo”. I leave my own work Public and others people’s photos (sometimes taken only for the purposes of selling the subject in the photo, usually a vintage car) I rate “friends and family”. I have tried to share some of my pics on sites like FOAP in hopes of making a little money, but, from what I’ve read, photos with people in them are what buyers of stock photos want. I am not going to take someone’s picture and then chase them around with a Model release form in my hand for their signature. I am just going to do what I’ve always done and keep photography fun. The only tedious part of uploading photos is adding tags, but I guess it’s necessary.
The BEST photo sharing/storage/community app EVER!
I’ve been on Flickr for over 8 years and I’ve seen it’s evolution over those years. I don’t exaggerate when I say Flickr is the best app out there for all photographers. You’re given a very generous amount of free upload space (1TB) and unlimited space if you join the yearly subscription. Because of that I’ve started using it as a backup to my backup photo archive. It allows easy full resolution uploads. Besides that, I love the communities that are on Flickr. If there is a type of photography you like or type of camera or any kind of photography process, there is more than likely a community for it. If not you can easily start one. I’ve tried other photography apps but I keep coming back to Flickr. As I write this review, SmugMug just purchased Flickr. I’ve tried SmugMug too but I always felt like it’s focus was to sell you something. I hope SmugMug doesn’t make any drastic changes to this already perfect app!
